Rixson 401 Model Electric Deadbolt - Fail Safe
401 Series Electric Deadbolt - For use with swinging, sliding, power operated and vertical lift doors.
Model 401 (Fail Safe) – Locked when energized – unlocks automatically in case of power failure. Under normal operation, deadbolt extends when door is closed and control switch is in "lock" position.
Voltage: 24 VDC
Solenoid Voltage: 120 VAC or VDC (optional).

Q: Will Rixson 401 work as a replacement for the Folger Adam 401?
A:
I believe that those were one in the same and I can give you a modern electric deadbolt that will have that very large faceplate. It would be prudent for you to email me photographs of the existing Folger Adam 401 along with the dimension of the faceplate. But also of course need to know the function (whether it is fail-safe will fail secure) and voltage.
Q: I am looking to buy a replacement for the folger adam 401 electric deadbolt x 120v x fail-safe .
A:
Line voltage is not available. We can do only 24vdc as either fail safe or fail secure.
