Q: Hey! I am in the market for similar tape which I need for my car's interior trim to eliminate some rattles between plastic panels. I saw that you mentioned this tape to be soft but how much thinner it would become if I press against it or the plastic panel pushes on it? If it pretty much flattens if I push on it, then it will work. Thanks

A: The material is 1/8" thick uncompressed and would flatten to 1/16" when pressed.
