• The drop-bar seal is actuated by a plunger which contacts the jamb as the door is closing, forcing the drop-bar seal down against the floor/threshold

• Installation is fast and easy because disassembly is not required to change handing: simply flip the automatic door bottom and you’ve reversed the hand
• This unit is not technically a handed item. We request the handing to be specified at the time of order for two reasons. 1. There are instances when the factory requests this information. We have in the past related to the manufacturer that the item is not handed yet they insist on the hand so we simply provide them a handing in all instances. 2. It is indeed helpful knowledge to know the handing of a door at the time of order so that we can help eliminate a potential conflict when there are multiple line items on a single order.When ordering this item do feel free to indicate any hand however indicating the actual hand would be best practice.
