Questions and Answers
Q: i need the programming manual for the 505 locknetics powwr supply box. i need to reprogram the keypad and change the codes for entry.
A: The 505 is the power supply only. There would be a controller involved. Please email our sales department photos of everything you have and we will provide the proper programming manual.

Q: Aloha and thank you for the quick response. I have a picture of the 505 locknetics set up. Thank you again. Sincerely Geronimo.
A: The item in the upper left hand corner is where I am unsure of what it is. It’s some type of control module. I couldn’t find any information on it. It very well could be a different manufactures product that was added to the 505 which is discontinued. I don’t show any option boards in the 505 manuals that even come close to what that module looks like.

Q: Aloha I work on Hickam Air Force base with the Air national Guard and I need help with recoding of two locknetics 500 series electronic locks. My Problem is I can't find the instructions on how to reset the lock back to programing mode to delete existing codes and re-enter new entry codes for permanently stationed personnel. New airmen come to train and as they get re assigned we want to have the option to re-code the locks to secure the building and keep the airmen's safety from being compromised by refreshing them as often as possible. I have included a picture of the existing electronic lock as instructed by one of your associates. If you can please send me the PDF of the locknetics 500 series so I proceed with the task at hand it would be greatly appreciated.
A: The Locketics 505 is just a power supply and providing no programming control. Please refer to the message above regarding the unknown controller you have. Are you able to provide any additional information about the controller you have?
Q: Hi again, I was wondering if the locknetics picture I sent has the controller inside of the box and is it that control panel to the top left side of the box? If not please give any info on what the controller looks like so I can look for it and get you the info you need right away. Thank you again.
A: The needs to be a controller somewhere, but the mystery is the circuit board in your original photo. However you might have something that looks like this:

Please trace all wiring from the input to the keypad and see if there are any undiscovered components.

Q: I work for a major hospitality company I am having trouble figuring out this system I think I have a bad coil how do I know?
A: What are all the elements in your system in addition to the Locknetics 505?
Q: I need a weatherproof switch we need to get rid of this Honeywell NGCPB108601Q . The one in the rack wash room there's a lot of steam water and use detergent and the switches keep going bad every 1 to 2 months. Photos here:

Q: What power supply do I need for my 2 QELA devices with LCN auto operator?
A: Use the PS902-2RS power supply with LCN auto operator on single door, PS904-2RS power supply on double door and PS904/906-2RS-2RS for 2 pair of QELA is required for basic operation with actuators on either sides of the opening to retract the QELA devices and open the doors.
Q: , the 505 does it come with battery if so what kind and is it shipped in the product or along side
A: The Locknetics 505, a long discontinued power supply although we generally have a small quantity on hand, does not automatically include battery cells with the unit but the standard base power supply can accept battery backup as seen on page two of the installation instructions as seen here:

Download File

and the profile of the battery type is listed on page 1 of that same installation instruction.

Q: No DC output from Power Supply
A: If a power supply is not outputting DC power, 12 or 24VDC at the Power supply main board lower right terminals ( DC+ DC-), there are several potential causes.

Legacy Power Supplies (500-series):

Check AC wire connections and make sure wires are connected properly and receiving proper AC incoming voltage:

Black - Line
Green - Ground
White - Neutral

Check the 4 Ampere “Slo Blo” Fuse. If it has blown, it will need replacement.

Ensure EIR is properly configured or jumpered. See product documentation for proper setup.

Q: There is a red light that showing. What does that mean
A: A red led instead of a green led usually indicates not seeing dc output as seen here:
