The Home Protectors

The Home Protectors® is the brand name for the consumer products group of Reliance Controls Corporation. Reliance began in 1909 as the manufacturer of the first heavy-duty time switch for commercial applications. It was used extensively for sign control, store window lighting and apartment house lights.Today, Reliance is the world’s oldest manufacturer of heavy-duty time controls.In 2005, Reliance introduced The Home Protectors®, a group of consumer products engineered to facilitate the installation of home standby power systems and help protect against damage caused by power failures and other unexpected events.
