Schlage 35-157 CEP

Q: Hello Rich Howard, I manage and operate a large federal building in Baltimore and have been tasked with obtaining additional Schlage Primus keys as the Security folks are down to their last Primus key and locking/unlocking several of our entry doors via the deadbolt is a daily routine. I have watched two of your youtube videos on this topic and I am familiar with the system in so far as our Locksmith of record (and the previous locksmith that keyed the building originally) have assisted the owner (General Services Administration) with getting their paperwork up to date with Primus, and with registering the current GSA Facility Manager. Now the issue: Our Locksmith has indicated they must purchase a minimum of 50 blanks, at a cost to the government of $400, in order to furnish the 4 keys we are requesting. My GSA customer, understandably, does not want to pay for 50 key blanks if it is possible to obtain the correct Level key blank in a lesser quantity. So, could you weigh in with an opinion on whether: 1. The keys in question are other than Level 1? 2. Your experience regarding minimum purchase qty for Primus key blanks? Front/back photos of our Exterior Deadbolt Key (same key operates all exterior doors that I tested). of a slightly cracked key from our facility that was retired before it broke entirely.Images here:
