Q: I need primus 35-157c key blanks are they side cut same
A: The side bit milling is not "universal" against all levels of Primus and because of this, it might be difficult to purchase keyblanks and be sure they will match your existing cylinders and your existing keys.
Q: Can you supply 100ea, 35-157CP with a side bit milling of 22246 and 10ea, 35-158CP Control key with the same side bit milling?
A: If that side bit milling is your facility code side bit milling, and that side bit milling is not owned by a specific lock shop, yes we can provide the blanks. Provide yes your side bit milling and I can investigate this further.
Q: Thank you for your quick reply. We are a relatively small church and it is very possible that the side bit milling is owned by a specific lock shop. Supposedly there is a lock shop we "have" to deal with, but I dont know if that means they "own" this side bit milling. I have never talked with them. Our staff has recently changed so I suspect any authorization forms they have on file are not current. It is my understanding that some Primus patents are expiring this year. If that is true, does anything change regarding your availability to provide these blanks to us? The name of our church is [removed]. The address is [removed]. In old records the city may be Beaverton, OR because our property was recently annexed to Hillsboro. I appreciate your time researching this. Thank you.
A: Send me your facility code and an expiring patent does not expire our ability to order the product from Schlage.
