Questions and Answers
Q: I have rain coming in through the top of my shed double-doors where they meet in the middle. The particle board has become a little shredded but not a big problem that I see. The width of the 2 doors is close to 8ft. Do I use one of these all the way across both doors, or just where the doors meet? I don't see how water is coming in anywhere else around the doors, only at the top where the two doors meet when closed. I have a lock about middle way up and another at the top to keep the doors closed as tight as possible.
A: As a general rule you add the drip cap to the entire width of the opening. You might also want to add a split astragal system as well such as the Pemko 18041CNB 84" Clear Anodized Aluminum Nylon Brush Gasketing as seen here:

Q: Hello, Richard. I recently had some Pemko 346C's delivered. I intend to install them over all my doors and windows. Do i need to caulk them or just screw them in and I'm done? I am super new to home improvements and want to make sure I do it right. :)
A: If it was me and my project I would absolutely be running a bead of caulk behind that before installation. While screwing it directly down to your surface is certainly the way to attach it you're not going to have an absolute seal between the back of a drip cap and the face of what you're attaching it to so that clock would be necessary in my estimation - keep the questions coming.
