Kawneer 050419 NP1 Series Power Supply

NP-1A Series Power Supply
For use with Kawneer 1686 MEL and 1786 MEL exit devices
Operates up to (2) devices
1 pair of 12Vdc Batteries along with wiring cables are included with the NP1 Power Supply
Note from the manufacturer: The NP-1 was our original design that we stopped making about 5 years ago. It used the same processor as the MEL-1 board. We found that in the field in applications where both doors were being used Simultaneously that there was a 3 second delay between door 1 and door 2 unlocking due to the processor chip’s inability to multi-thread. We upgraded to a more powerful processor chip to resolve that issue which we call the NP-1A. Other than that they are functionally the same.
