Q: I'm Dave. I am looking at a KABA Ilco ADA7181TK2-26D Thumb Turn and need to know if it will work with an Adams Rite MS1850SN-050. Can you help with this inquiry? also What is the differnce between the TK2 and the TK1 in the model? Thanks!
A: Hello Dave and yes the ADA7181 will work perfectly in your MS1850SN
The proper cam for this lock is called out on page DL-13 as seen here:

the TK1 is considered a "standard" cam, known as the Kaba Ilco 863G and can be reviewed here:

Q: MS1850S And 2 1/4" thick door
A: Depending on how thick the cylinder collars will be that you're going to use I would consider a cylinder length of 1-1/8” or longer so long as the length of the cylinder collar compensates.
