JL Industries 18" x 30" Weather Resistant Flush Access Panel

Door: 2" Thick Insulated .040 Aluminum Door with Continuous Stainless Steel Hinges and EPDM Foam Rubber Bulb Seal Gasketing.
Frame: 16 Gauge Galvanized Steel Frame with 1" Flange.
Finish: Gray powder coat primer
Lock: Non-locking (H) or Optional Chrome-plated Locking (HL) Die Cast Zinc Handles for Exterior, Interior has Non-locking handle.
Price listed includes non-locking handle. Specify if locking handle is needed

Questions and Answers

Q: We need an access door that is 18in tall and 30in wide. There arent any specs on the shape of the door so I just wanted to check on if it is 18in wide or 18in tall. Also, does this lock, and come with a key as well?

A: Its neither 18 in wide nor 18-in tall meaning the hinge is always on the second dimension which means that an 18 inch by 30 inch would feature the hinges on the 18-in side and naturally you can install it horizontally or vertically but of course most typically the hinges would be on a vertical edge.

This access panel can be supplied with a locking handle as well.
