Q: I have a series of doors with 1285 hardware. Where are the screws to release the mortise cylinder and trim.

A: Under the head of the exit device from the inside.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Q: As there are a few screws there and I was not feeling anything loosen as I gently loosened some of them I was really hoping for a diagram as I don’t see the mortise cylinder in the parts diagram. Are we talking the two allen head screws or the flush philips?
