IVES 7255

A: Neither is rated for a door of your size. Having said that, I know client have had success in this pivot used in the application you are describing. I personally would go with a pivot set rated for 1,000 lbs so that you marginalize the fact that your door is so much larger than the design specifications of the 7255 or 7256.

A: The Ives 7255 does not feature a self closing feature and is just a "free swinging" pivot. I would be happy to suggest a closing type if you are interested.
