Q: Hi there. Are there any kind of heavy duty magnetic latches that you know of that use non-magnetic metal or a stronger plastic that can take a bit of wear and tear? more than rev-a-shelf? I want to install on bulkhead storage on a boat.

A: There is nothing that we have that would be magnetic in nature that would be non-ferrous.

The closest item we could come up with would be something not unlike the IVES RL30-A US26D Roller Latch with ASA Strike - Satin Chrome Brass As seen here:

and while some of its components are ferrous faced the exposed portions are made of brass in general.
