Q: Will a Kwikset door knob fit this item?
A: No - a Kwikset typical tubular lock would not be compatible with the
Hager 3938 RC US26D - 3600 5" Backset Dead Latch - Satin Chrome.
Kwikset does however indeed manufacturer 5-inch backset latchbolts. Can you tell me the series of lock that you have?
Q: Will this fit a schlage door knob? Purchased recently from big box store.
A: While I've never tried to fit the Hager 3938 RC US26D Round Corner Dead Latch - All keyed functions (3600), 5" Backset, Satin Chrome onto a typical Schlage and therefore cannot absolutely say no - I would be surprised if it did.
Having said this, assuming you need a 5 inch backset for a Schlage lock please let us know which lock you have and we can all but surely supply the proper 5 inch backset latchbolt for that lock.
Q: Will this fit a Reliabilt handle model #93670-013?
A: We simply have no way to be sure, but email us photos of your lockset and current latchbolt and we can give you a better opinion as to compatibility.

it is indeed possible that it will work and I say this buttressed by the fact that clients have bought this same latchbolt in the past and have used it successfully with non Hager units.
Q: Will a Hager 311H fit this item?
A: The Hager 3938 RC US26D Round Corner Dead Latch - All keyed functions (3600), 5" Backset, Satin Chrome
will not fit the 311H. The replacement latch for the 311H is the 1-450-0004 LATCH ONLY 311H 5" US26D.
