Q: I have a 9"9/16 wide door jamb. I planned on installing a standard 32x80 Jeld wen door, 4" 9/16 wide. I will extend the jamb appropriately. Will this sill extender work for my application?
A: Unlikely as we are not sure if this extension is compatible with your threshold - reply with a photo of the leading edge of your threshold and we will take a closer look.
Q: Thanks I looked at the threshold and it does not look compatible. What if I were to replace the threshold with one of yours. Could I purchase a 5 5/8 threshold put it on a 4 9/16 door then add an extension to bring it to ~10 inches? Again I will extend the jamb appropriately. I do fear however it's going to come back to cost because most of these thresholds are only made an extremely long lengths and to do a single piece that would be 3 ft or 6 ft long you'd end up buying a piece that was twelve foot long paying for them to cut it to your requirements and then shipping all of it.
What specifically can I attempt to assist at with at this time?

A: Frank the '150' in the part number refers to the length of the stock unit which is 150" and while it is true the factory will cut the stock 150" length prior to shipping, we would be obligated to sell you the full 150". would this be of any interest to you?
