Q: Can you tell me the width of the piece? I don't see anything on the website.
A: The 2PZ = 1" wide x 7/16" high
The M1Z = 3/4" wide x 5/16" thick
The M2Z = 3/4" wide x 3/16" thick.

thank you for your help.
A: is there a set of two hooks that nest together in your installation?
Q: The picture i e-mailed you earlier of the interlocking weatherstripping is the 3/8 inch"male end "that nails on to the door at the lockset side ,not the hinge side of the door.this piece mates to the 3/8 inch"female side" ,which is not damaged, thats nailed to the door jamb side.if you would like more pictures please let me know.thanks.
A: I understand the answer is yes to the question:
is there a set of two hooks that nest together in your installation?
Is the edge of your door rabbeted to account for the set of nested hooks?
Q: I'm sending you more pictures of the interlocking weatherstripping I'm looking to replace on my solid wood door.the answer to your question is yes i have a rabbit cut into the door to accept the 3/4 inch wide "male" weatherstripping with 3/8 inch return.the third picture picture is the female weatherstripping that is not damaged that is nailed to the door jamb that accepts the male end.i hope these pictures

help...thanks
A: does this set of nested hooks look close?
Q: Yes both the m3z and the m4z are close.while the m3z is 3/4 inch wide over all the hemmed piece ( the return ) is also 3/4 inch wide,i am looking for the hemmed piece only to be hemmed to only 3/8 inch to fit into the rabbet on the door. That would make it 3/4 inch wide with the hemmed side being at 3/8 inch .the door is 1-1/2 inches thick and there are two rabbits on the door, one to accept the 3/4 inch width and the other to recess the 3/8 inch return .the m4z would work ,size wise if-the hook side was flattened ,or hemmed to 3/8 inch....between the two if the m4z in zinc was hemmed at 3/8 inch ,it would be the closer to what I'm looking for....what do you think ,is it possible .thanks for your time.
A: I would not suggest trying to rework this material but simply replace the entire strike jamb and door stile accordingly with new metal. Page 23 of the dorbin catalog here:

Will provide you with an overview of the two different nested hook assemblies that can be used on the lock side of your installation.
Simply put I would buy both the mated pieces of the set and install them as new.
