A: Stainless steel is used because of the chemical in some fire extinguisher. Stainless steel is usually only used in wet chemical fire extinguishers or for non magnetic fire extinguishers.

Buckeye does not give out this information so there is no guess work. When it is time to maintain the system, you replace all the wet chemical by ordering the correct recharge agent for your cylinder.
