Q: I bought the Bilco RPRS8 Turn Handle Assembly Part #: Bilco RPRS8 and received today, but when i was install it to my roof hatch i realize the one of the pin hole on the shaft does not face the same direction as the other end . I think this is a manufacturew error. I mange to install it anyway but the handle outside is not facing the direction like it supose to be in the manual. can you send me a shaft that have both pin hole facing the same direction.. A: That unit is indeed intended to have the handles either facing the same direction or 180° from each other as shown here:

Q: I am looking at the Bilco RPRS8 Turn handle assy. What is the square shaft dimension. I need a 1/4 square shaft.
A: The caliper says .311"
Q: Are the handles on this hatch plated? Or plain steel?
A: They are a zinc alloy die cast handle.
Q: I was wondering if you carry the wrench with a T handle? we have many vaults that require a key-are you aware if Bilco ever had one? or a part #?
A: As far as I am aware they never manufactured a unit that was in the shape of a T - handle.

the first pic is the inside which we are currently using vicegrips the other two are on the outside. I found the following part on your website: Bilco RPRS8 Bilco RPRS8 Turn Handle Assembly - Shaft Length: 4-5/8" I was wounding if it will work as a replacement, the instructions show a box on the inside that the handle attaches to and as you can see from pic 1 I do not have a box. The rod seems to in gauge a mechanism inside the door which when turned releases dual latches on each end of the door. Please let me know if this item will work and or recommend a part that could work. Thank You,
