A: Bilco does not offer any specification diagrams for this item. The RPRS480 is made specifically for Bilco Roof Hatches, it's not mean to be retrofitted in other non-Bilco applications.
Q: please provide cylinder stroke length. I have a design to complete using this device.
A: In the open position it is around 15”
In the closed position it is around 12”

Q: Bilco accidentally sent me RPRS180 for my roof hatch, which do not have enough capacity to lift it. We ordered RPR480s, but with the large tube assembly the mount brackets are too short. Do the large tube assembly springs take different mounting hardware than the small tube?
A: Email me photos of your unit, especially of the serial number if one exists on the sidewall. I will obtain the correct parts from the manufacturer and advise.
