Q: Hi there. Tried to replace the battery in one of these today. With a brand new battery installed, it still makes the "low battery" chirp. Do you know why this might be? Thanks in advance for any help
A: Have you eliminated the possibility the replacement battery too is old, used and unfit for use?
Q: Thank you for your reply! It was indeed a new battery. I think I actually resolved this issue a few hours ago. I had left the screws loose in case I had to take the unit off the base again, but as soon as I screwed the tamper screw all the way in, the beeping stopped. I didn't know it would beep w/o the tamper screw! The locksmith who installed it in the first place threw away all the accompanying paperwork. Thanks again!

Q: after i arm it, will the indicator light stay on or simply blink the first time it’s armed then turn off?
A: The status light will stay on when armed. The Status indicator (located on the front of the Housing Cover) signifies whether the unit is armed or disarmed (red indicates armed status).
