Q: Hi, I was hoping you might help me source some kind of occupancy indicator for our bathroom doors using perhaps existing locksets? We manage a shared office space with two bathrooms, each with an aluminum door, 1-3/4" thick. Pictures below. Please note I mocked up what we would like on the right, using an image from the Internet. Most appreciatively, Russell S.

Q: Rich, Customer has a Adams Rite 4591M, and his specs call for a grade 1. How can he identify if the 4591M is grade 1, based off a visual inspection? Thank you: Cory
A: Regarding the Adams Rite 4591M please see page number T-19 here:

what you'll notice is that the "M" after the part number simply indicates a
“Paddle without latch drive mechanism but with switch that can be wired to make or break a low voltage circuit.”
According to the catalog the atoms right part number 4591M does not carry a grade 1 rating and in fact it does not carry any grade rating whatsoever.
