Q: The Ives 230 is a classic hardware item. US26D is the most durable of the plated finished. Commonly used for pocket doors. All templates are available on the ALLEGION hardware website. I have specified this edge pull since 1983 and it's problem free. Full disclosure, i do work for ALLEGION as a specification writer. and i think it's refreshing to see the versatility and innovative use of youtube to reach out to folks, great video. Richard thank you for presenting the Ives flush edge pull. They are easy to install and as with any hardware installation, read directions, measure twice cut once. center-line can be 39 9/16" above finish floor - (AFF) for commercial applications, but for residential, might simply center on the door vertical height. be sure to have your flush pulls selected or latch/lock if a pocket door so that your edge pull installation location doesn't interfere with any latching or flush pull hardware. Thanks again Mr. Howard, cool stuff. (i am an AHC since 1990, with DHI #10013).
