Q: Ah, I see, so the screws from the side with the countersunk holes will be grabbing the other trim piece. Good! I will be purchasing it soon!
A: Correct, Simply cut the rectangle as required and then the kit screws together and "sandwiches' over your cutout.

Q: How thick is the chevron louver core only?
A: The core is 3/4". Is there a follow-up question I can assist with?
Q: Hi, I'm going to have to make what might be termed as a dog eared ( looking ) door and it's going to be on the small side and the only reason I'll be installing a louvered portion is that i will be having a whole house fan within 6' from said door however I'm concerned that the louver itself looks like it will be too thick for said door now i suppose i could just compensate by putting a thicker amount of moulding but i think that would look tacky.....any suggestions? P. S. I'd be more than happy to send u a picture of a drawing of how the door is going to look. Regards Leslie R.
A: Please reply to this email with your photos / sketch and all other supporting documentation.
Q: Hello there, I was wondering if you sold wood louver kits with rotary birch wood type?
A: Louvers cannot be done in rotary birch Because lumber is not cut in a rotary fashion - only veneer is to my knowledge.
Having said this we could do
Alder/Beech Wood
Hard Maple Wood
Red Oak Wood
