Our PARTICLE BOARD CORE DOORS, AWI specification FPC-9, are for standard residential use or economy commercial applications. The standard features of this door are one piece stiles (not finger jointed), particle board core and can be rated for up 20 minute. There doors carry our one year warranty for interior applications. Since not every application calls for an architectural solid core door, this economy door is a dependable alternative. This door is well suited for commercial tenant build-out or commercial retail jobs where cost is a primary concern along with quality. These doors are available 1 3/4" or 1 3/8" thick. Additionally special sizes are also available. Please contact our sales office directly for your custom size door needs |

Since this cut follows the log's annual growth ring, a bold variegated grain marking is produced. Rotary cut veneer is exceptionally wide. To put it simply, this is the way you peel an apple | | | | PLAIN SLICING The log, or flitch, is mounted with the heart side flat against the flitch table of the slicer and the slicing is done parallel to a line through the center of the log. This produces a variegated figure. To put it simply this is the way meat is sliced at the deli | | | QUATER SLICING The quarter log, or flitch, is mounted on the flitch table so that the growth rings of the log strike the knife at approximately right angles, producing a series of stripes, straight in some wood, varied on others | | | RIFT CUT Cut veneer is produced in the various species of Oak. Oak has medullary ray cells which radiate from the center of the log like curved spokes of a wheel. The rift or comb grain effect is obtained by cutting at an angle of 15 degree of the quarter |
