Von Duprin 871-2 Board

Option board for PS873 power supply QEL must be powered by a PS873 with 871-2Q board. Up to 4 QEL devices can be powered from a PS873. (Two 871-2Q boards required when powering 3 or 4 QEL devices from a PS873.)

Questions and Answers

Q: Can a PS872 operate EL devices?

A: Yes, 871-2 option board is included in the PS872 power supply and will power 1 or 2 EL electric exit devices.

Q: What outputs should be showing on the 871-2 board?

A: The 871-2 option board on PS873 power supply provides output voltage when an input such as card reader is activated. If 871-2 board is programmed for sequential operation when either input is activated both outputs provide 24VDC. If 871-2 board is programmed for individual operation when input one is activated only output one provides 24VDC and when input two is activated output two provides 24VDC.
