Questions and Answers
Q: Hi, I have a question about the Trimco 1502 Are there any differences or does it even have a choice of "hands" (LH, RH, LHR, RHR)? Also, if I have a door that has a 2 3/8" backset, would I be able to put this in and is it even possible because the product has a backset of 2 3/4? Would my Trimco 1562HL operate properly? Thanks, Daniel A: The trouble that I am seeing is that there is no available latch bolt for your push pull hardware in a 2-3/8 backset. You saying that the unit you need to install will be fitted onto a door that is already drilled at 2-3/8 backset? Q: Yes, I was wondering if it would be possible to put the 1502 with backset 2-3/4 into an already drilled at 2-3/8. I think it will not be possible but wanted to check.
