This is the latch you need when converting from an unlatched to latched door and can include the use of an automatic electronic strike release.

Product Information

Function: This lock is very versatile. It can be locked in a “hold-open” position. It is ideal for use during heavy traffic flow and will allow two way traffic such as in hospitals, banks, stores and other buildings which require a free, two-way entrance at times and an “exit only” at other times.
This latch is interchangeable without any door style modifications
Operation: Turning key in cylinder, operating inside lever handle or push paddle will retract spring loaded latchbolt
Backset: 1-1/8"
Latchbolt: 5/8" x 1" x 1/2" throw. Chrome plated zinc alloy with hardened steel internal pins. Non-handed. Can be easily reversed using simple Phillips head screwdriver.
Auxiliary Bolt: All metal. Deadlocks latch bolt. Prevents jimmying open latch bolt with knife-like objects or tools
Trim: Push/Pull Paddles and Lever Trim are shown in the generic manufacturer image but not included. Click for these Parts and Accessories.
Case: 1" x 5-13/16" x (various widths)
Strike: Standard strike furnished is for flat jamb where door closes flush (or nearly flush)
Bolt (Hold-Open) Feature: Latch-bolt can be fixed in “hold-open” position with the use of a mortise cylinder key, not with the use of any tools.
