Q: I want the Satin Gold Bronze finish. I don't see this here. What is Duronodic?
A: This exit device from Trans-Atlantic is not available is a Satin Gold Bronze finish but please tell me, is it mandatory you have a cross bar type device?

A: Duronodic is industry standard for "Dark Brown" or "Duro Coated". Usually, but not always, a powder coat over stainless steel. This image as seen here:

A: Yes indeed a locking handle can be used on the exterior if the TA ED-VR331-DU ED300 Series - Narrow Stile Surface Vertical Rod Rim Type Exit Device. You can have a rim cylinder, keyed lever or knob as well.

A: According to the manufacturer the width of the head case is 2-1/4”

The distance from the edge of the door to the vertical center of the preparation is 2-1/16 of an inch so therefore I would expect the minimum style requirement to be approximately
3-1/2”
(calculated as 2.25/2+2.0625+small margin).

Was indeed available in brass from the original company by the name of transatlantic however the VR331 is now only available in aluminum and duronodic finish.
