Q: Hi, we have the Magic Access Operator LH/Out and it appears the DC motor have died as when I meter out the motor leads I get no resistance at all, but I also noticed after we press the open button the board outputs around 164 VDC to the motor for about 3 seconds (red and black wires). Isn't the 164 VDC too high for the DC motor to handle, as I noticed on your pictures the motor is rated for 90 VDC ? Any advice would be highly apriciated
A: To advise you simply, replace the motor. Email use photos of the motor and we will quote you a rebuilt unit OR you can send us yours to be rebuilt.
Q: I have a Stanley magic access double door and the rh out won’t stop even with adjustment of cams. The limit switches are working properly after doing tests.
