As I am not familiar with screws dimensions legend, I want to confirm the length, Dia as per below sketch. Kindly clarify the difference between machine screws wood screws.

A: The screw you are showing above is a wood screw and the length would be inch and a quarter and would have a diameter of a number 12 screw.

The difference between wood and machine screws is the thread type in the intended application. A wood screw will be identical to the image you provided above with very loose and set widely apart thread type or as a machine screw is intended to be installed on to a metal door or metal frame and will have a very tight thread profile.
