Q: how many cycles is a grade 1 leverset good for
A: Many ANSI/BHMA standards set forth different product grades for a particular hardware item. These product grades (grade 1, 2, or 3 -- with grade 1 being the highest) are defined by progressive levels of performance benchmarks in each applicable ANSI/BHMA standard. The grade of any particular architectural hardware item also can be ascertained by looking at its BHMA product number. This standardized BHMA numbering system also delineates other important classification information, such as the predominant material used, product category, and function of a specific hardware item.
Grade 1 locks must pass a
rigorous test through one
million cycles of opening and
closing with a 10 pound axial
load applied.*

Q: Will this template also work for the Falcon T511 lockset? And if so, what is the life cycle (how many doors can be drilled before replacement)?
A: The M204-198 will indeed also work for the Falcon T locks.

Regarding the life cycle that is exclusively determined by the user. I have personally drilled hundreds of doors with one template but have seen others ruin the tool in less that 20 - doors.
