Q: I have a pair of occupancy indicators that I'm mounting unlocks which are the Schalge L283-430-630 & Schlage L283-438-630 L583-363 Is the proper machine bolt for that your part number K510-389 Presuming 1-3/4 thick doors Please review and advise
A:
We do not recommend mounting indicators back to back due to the fact if the prep is not spot on there could be binding (but can it be done yes). When I review the part numbers below those look to be correct, and the K510-389 would be the N esc bolts to be used with these on 1-3/4” door. Please make sure they are aware that prep is very critical on these applications. Thank you.
