Q: How do I cut down the rods? I have a7/0 device and installing onto a 6/8 tall door?
A: From the Top Rod only, we recommend that the end with the pin hole be cut down to the desired length and then the hole be re drilled.

A: "Where there is a will there is a way", but you will want to order this from the factory with the bottom rod prepped for the mounting height you are installing this exit device at.
