Questions and Answers
Q: Why are lead lined frames used?
A: Lead lined frames are intended for use in the X-ray Room locations in Health Care facilities. Lead is to cover the inside surfaces of the face, rabbet, stop and part or all of the soffit. Lead linings are to be overlapped at the miters of the frame. The purpose is to retard the transmission of x-ray energy from within the confined space to external spaces.
Q: how wide are these doors , my rough opening is 31 inches
A: We will custom make these lead lined doors to suit your requirements and your rough opening is important to know but it's next most important to know what type of frame you're going to use and how you will attach it to the wall.
