Q: We located one CO2 that is 16 gram locally that someone had in their household goods. It does not have an expiration date on it, do these units expire?
A: They do not have a shelf life.
When installed in the system, the installation date is written on the cartridge and may be replaced every 12 months.

Q: IF the 16g CO2 cartridge has been installed for 12 months, reinspected to show no damage and it weighs more than the minimum weight specified on the cartridge can it be reused.
A: According to the manufacturers guidelines, it is to be replaced every 12 - months. As stated earlier: When installed in the system, the installation date is written on the cartridge and may be replaced every 12 months.

Q: Does it have to be replaced every twelve months? The technicians which service our system apparently never replaced it and then just last year replaced it and told us they wouldbe replacing it every twelve months. I was also told by another technician that if it has not been punctured it does not have to be replaced.
