Q: Would this dull chrome 5 knuckle institutional overlay hinge works with a 1 inch thick door? My door panel and side panel are both 1 inch thck.
A: No, we would use the Pro Value IHP388-26D for a door thickness of 13/16" and for a door thickness of 1” I would recommend using the Pro Value IHP7036-26D Dull Chrome 5 Knuckle Institutional Overlay Hinge as seen here:

Q: Thank you for replying. In addition to my query, is Pro Value IHP7036-26D a full overlay type? I am looking for a full overlay for a 1" side panel. And since it's for a 1-3/8" door thick hinge, I guess I will have to pad the 3/8" extra space as my door's thickness is 1", or what's the remedy? Hoping you deliver these items to the Philippines or you may have a dealer over there.

would provide an overlay of 1"

Regarding your door thickness of 1", the hinge pin will indeed stand proud of the face of the door with an option being using a thinner door thickness and therefore a different hinge. 13/16" would be the thinner option.
