Q: Is this a tested product to make up for a fire rated door clearance more than 3/4"? If not, can you please recommend one?
A: The Pemko SA3 is not fire rated and will not bring compliance to an opening at the bottom of the door that requires a fire rated installation of hardware nor will it bring compliance to a gap that exceeds the published dimension from the bottom of the door to the top of the non-combustible sill.
Please tell me the specifics of your situation and I will work towards providing an appropriate solution.
