We request the handing to be specified at the time of order for two reasons. 1. There are instances when the factory requests this information. We have in the past related to the manufacturer that the item is not handed yet they insist on the hand so we simply provide them a handing in all instances. 2. It is indeed helpful knowledge to know the handing of a door at the time of order so that we can help eliminate a potential conflict when there are multiple line items on a single order. Q: i need instructions on adjusting the 420APK door bottom

A: Do you need to adjust for drop seal projection?

Q: how much as for length can it be cut down?

A: Generally 4" when the unit is ordered at 36" however I would encourage you to simply order as close to the actual size you need because when you order smaller than 36" the general rule of thumb is that they are not trimmable in the field whatsoever.
