Q: Do you supply flat stock in the same material as the Pemko 216BPK 36" Mill Finish Extruded Bronze Brass Door Shoe with Rain Drip? We will have to have a kick plate welded onto each side to get the height we need. We are trying to repair a door that is starting to separate at the bottom and need to cover 4.5 inches up from the bottom on the front and back of the door. If you don't supply flat stock, can you tell me the alloy that is used and the percentages so we can find out if we can get flat stock to match?

Q: Hi, We have looked at the answers at the site listed below. We would like to know the thickness of the wall of the Mill finish Extruded Bronze -Brass door shoe so we could purchase flat stock to weld to the door shoe to increase the height. We also need to know if the Mill finish Extruded Bronze -Brass welds sufficiently so that water will not penetrate between a kick plate and the door shoe. Thank you for your help, Connie
A: Tech Support at Pemko is telling me 1/16". To me that is .0625" but frankly I would not order your flat stock until the 216BPK arrived to you and you could put a caliper on it.

Q: Good morning, Im interested in your Pemko mill 36" mill finish extruded brass shoe with rain drip. Do you have a similar product that would work on a 2-1/4" thick door?
A: While there are no "U" shaped Extruded Bronze Brass Door Shoe with Rain Drip for 2-1/4" thick doors, why not rip the short retun off and turn it into an "L" shaped door bottom?
