• Features:
• Grade 1 compliant (tested to 1 million cycles)
• Simple design consisting of less than 10 parts, which consist of fully recyclable components
• 7 year warranty (if the door is used 100 times a day it would take 27 years to hit the Grade 1, 1 million cycle test mentioned above)
• Acts as a weather seal, an acoustical seal and a security seal and in some instances can be used on fire rated openings
• Any ordered size down to 24" can be field trimmed up to 4". If you need to trim more than 4", disassembly is a straightforward process to achieve in the field to achieve a custom length (need to cut a 36" ordered unit to 30"? No problem with the PDB)
• Uniformity in the dropping and lifting cycle suitable for sliding doors as well as swinging doors and reducing drag of the mechanism on the sill at the same time
• One seal, EPDM, to solve multiple problems without needing multiple part numbers. The EPDM seal is easily replaceable should you ever need to do so

• Narrower mortise for the PDB411M model removing less of the door as compared to competitors models
• Thinner surface model, the PDB411S, making for a less "unsightly" appearance
• Actuator button made of durable synthetics so as nor to mar, deform or dent wood frames eliminating the need for an unsightly strike or large screw head requiring countersinking
• The even drop of the drop bar assembly leaves less unprotected spaces on the hinge side of the door compared to competitors as the is no lateral movement on the drop bar
• STC rated 46 right out of the packaging when used with balance of tested assembly and can be used in upto STC52 openings as well
• The combination of aluminum and EPDM is the ideal component which provides both absorption and insulation
• Anodized as a standard finish and considered an upgrade to mill finishes with special finishes available as a custom option
• Eliminates the need for a threshold when installing one would not be practical or possible or simply not desired as a design component
• 2:1 drop ratio brings the unit back up into its housing with very, very little door swing

• Note: If it is a fractional size, there is a noticeable upcharge added for being trimmed to the exact length. If you are going to trim it in the field for yourself, order the next even dimensional size. For example if you need a 34-1/2" size and you want to avoid the additional charge make sure to order the 35" length. Any size ordered that is 24" and longer can be field trimmed up to 4".
