Q: Hello, I am trying to replace the Mortise lockset in my apartment as seen here:

but I am unable to identify the brand by the logo. I have attached a photo of the logo, which appears to be a letter "b". Are you able to identify the brand? Thank you.

A: That is a Segal key - and Segal did indeed manufacturer mortise locks several decades ago and in fact still do - however, I have not seen that logo before.
