Q: Which of your 8" x 8" hinge would you recommend for a for a very heavy shed door. I have looked at the Mckinney T6B3386 hinge. What is the weight limit of this hinge.
A: How much weight a hinge is going to comfortably carry is going to be based very much so on how wide the door is in addition to the door weight. Generally youre not going to see a hinge of this nature load rated but I have personally seen doors in the 300 pound range hung on hinges of this size and leaf thickness.

I do very often on a weekly basis refer to the published hinge height visa V hinge type and maximum door weight permissible as seen from Stanley at the link here and specifically review the 16th page of the document:

I provide a link to that chart only because it serves as informational because there is no equivalent hinge type in that size on that chart. Having said this if you were to have the CB168 8 x 8 you see that you could get upwards of a 600 pound door. Use this as very general guidance only.
