Current Transfer Prep - Swing Clear Models

• Centerline of hinge is standard location.
• Location of the power transfer is defined as the dimension from the top of the door to the centerline of the preparation.
• Hinge leaf cutout to accommodate Markar's EL-EPT/EL-CEPT or Von Duprin's Electric Power Transfer (mortise depends on which unit your're purchasing)
• Von Duprin models will have both u-notches on the door and the frame leaf; Securitron models will only have one side mortised (either the frame leaf or door leaf, depending on where you want the hardware to go).
• The rectangular cutout is mortised to the door side and the u-notch is mortised to the frame.
• You have the rectangular cutout because this is a hinge guard hinge, it's there to compensate for the returns on the hinge guards (manufacturer won't cut those off).
• For example, the FM300 would have two u-notches instead of the rectangular cutout, but an item like the HG3505 would have the rectangular cutout and the u-notch.
• Cost of the CTP-SCM is in addition to the cost of the hinge
