Q: What can be done if the key is lost for Mag Security Mag 8825-Al Keyed Patio Door Lock W Bolt?
A: Two possibilities I see.
1. Uninstall the lockset and take it it to a locksmith to see if there is a possibility of the lock being picked open and a new key cut.
2. Purchase an entire new lock through the website and simply replace the entire unit.

Q: I have mag deadbolts on several doors but only 1 key. I tried to get copies at the hardware store, but they didnt have any blanks. I see you sell the lock with the same numbered key. Do you have extra blanks for sale?
A: Thank you for the question regarding this piece of hardware theMag 8825-AL Keyed Patio Door Lock w/ Bolt
This manufacturer has gone out of business or at least discontinued operating several years ago, and all of the old inventory has been mostly used up and sold off.
Having said that it's likely that we still have several of the entire units on hand that you could purchase, however there are no blank Keys available, nor do we have any Keys available for sale as a standalone separate item.
Having said that I'm completely unaware of, and you must imagine I've gotten this question several times in the past , that there is any compatible key blank on the market. You might check with a local locksmith, especially one that has been in business for several decades and has more of an old locksmith type feel to it. I generally find locksmiths that have been in business for several decades have a lot more experience when it comes to solving problems that do not have an immediate and obvious solution.
If push comes to shove and you have no options and you simply require to have additional Keys, the only recommendation I have for you is to Simply purchase all new locks remove the lock bodies and reinstall all the new doors with the new locksets and then you will have as many keys as you like.
