Questions and Answers

Q: Can these be installed without the cylinder to be locked and unlocked with the thumb turn only ?

A: Sure can - installing an exterior cylinder on the Mag 8000-B Single Cylinder Deadlock is totally optional.

Q: Can you use a Sargent core for the lock?

A: Absolutely - you could add a Sargent conventional rim cylinder on the exterior or a Sargent interchangeable core housing or you could do a Kaba Ilco type cylinder that will take a typical Sergent keyway. You would be able to add any rim cylinder that you want to the exterior of this lock and in any key wave as long as that keyway was available in a rim cylinder format
