Pushbutton Lock 2500-SC is a mechanical keyless hook bolt lock with Satin Chrome finish. This Hook Bolt is designed for sliding doors. When turned to the locked position, the hook will strike into the mortised jamb or into the surface mounted strike plate (both are included with the lock). This can also be used like the 2200 Surface Mount Deadbolt, but is most commonly used on sliding glass doors where a hook lock configuration is necessary. Designed for sliding glass doors and configurations where a hook bolt is necessary. 2500-SC is dedicated to both residential and commercial applications. One user code with thousands of possible combinations works as a lock key. To change the code the lock must be taken off the door. The Pushbutton Lock is very easy and quick to install - installs in minutes with EZ plates and very easy to change code. Comes with multiple strike plates for a number of mortised and surface mounted applications. Mounts in standard 2 1/8" hole. For thicker doors, an Extension Kit is available - extensions for doors up to 5? in width. The 2500-SC has changeable/reversible handing.
