A: No, LCN does not have an electronic hold open closer (SE/ME Series) that will provide a solid 180° hold open position. The 3130SE has an adjustable hold open position from 85° to 110° maximum. ...

Q: How do you check an ME or SE solenoid?

A: To check an ME or SE solenoid Unplug the solenoid from the circuit board. Measure resistance across the 2 pin of the solenoid connector.

The solenoid resistance should read:

24 volt solenoid -- 300 - 400 ohms.

120 volt solenoid --3000 - 4000 ohms.

A: The 4040SE uses the regular arm for any Push Side mounting (minimum 28" door width). ST-2788 (a special arm and track) can be used to mount a 4040SE on the Push Side of a smaller (narrow) door. Smallest door it will mount on is 18".
