A: The LCN closers are not designed nor intended to be exterior mounted in the elements.
Q: I have the 4011/4021 closer, what replaces that model?
A: Neither of the two models you have mentioned are discontinued and are currently available and have for decades in fact at this point.
Q: What would replace a 4013 closer?
A: The 4010 Series "fixed" sized springs are no longer available. The 4010 Series closer are now available as a 4011 and a 4016. The 4011 is an adjustable spring closer for sizes 1-5. The 4016 is still a "fixed" size 6 closer.
Q: Can the 4011MCLH be used on a right hand door
A: It cannot be. The 4011 is a handed unit and not reversible whatsoever BUT if you were installing it in a Top Jamb type mount, it might work. Shall I investigate this?
Q: Is the 4011/4021 the same as a 4011/3071
A: The 4011 & 4021 are different door closers and are mounted differently though still within the 4000 series family of door closers. The 4011/3071 is a specific reference to an arm type within the 4010 series.
Q: Will the application seen in the image here work:

the thickness of the casing is 7/8”
A: With the use of a standard arm the maximum thickness of your casing can be 3/4”.
We can implement a double egress arm and increase that substantially.
