Lakewood features wood-to-wood construction secured with glue and screws which is a century old method proven to be the strongest furniture construction method available. Tops are available in a multitude of colors to match any d’cor. Drawer boxes are four sided and dovetailed to add beauty and strength. We also use a frame rail in our units for added stability. Our slides consist of ball bearing nylon rollers with lever locks for positive in and out motion and are tested for a 100 lb. load. We use a solid bottom in our units, which prevents dust from entering the drawer area from the bottom and keeps the unit both sturdy and square. Attractive dual nailed nylon feet are used to prevent marring of the floor. In addition, we incorporate adjustable steel gussets in our units to insure the product can be leveled on practically any surface.
